Heather is a local, national and international performer. She has travelled the world performing her own music and still plays locally in her hometown of Newcastle.
When performing her own music Heather is capable of performing as a solo artist (accompanying herself on acoustic guitar or piano) or with a full band for more high-energy shows.
Her unique children’s music makes her a popular choice for Children’s Ministry conferences and concerts and she is a regular performer at Christmas events thanks to her contribution to modern, Australian Christmas music through her album “Carols In The Sun” (see live clip of “Jesus, Little Baby”). Songs of activism, social awareness and faith are Heather’s other passion in writing music and she features in many intimate gatherings playing this music (see live clip of “Racist Skin”).
If you’re lucky you may even catch Heather performing on Double Bass or vocals with The Dungeon Big Band, solo at a relaxed dinner in the Hunter Valley Vineyards or a wine bar in Newcastle.
